Our Indonesia subsidiary located in Cakung, Jakarta is currently constructing a range of portacamp depot facilities for a shipping container depot located in Semarang, Central Java. This project has a number of structures used for a variety of purposes and has required the construction of not only simple container offices but rather complex multi-level and multi-roomed joined structures.
This project requires a number of portacamp units such as a gate office, toilet unit, maintenance office and a main administrative office. The gate office spans an area of over 60 sqm with the containers joined together and requiring the inner walls removed to create one large room. The maintenance office uses high cube containers to cover an area of over 187sqm, the main office unit consists of high cube containers spanning over 300sqm with the containers stacked two containers high and finally the toilet unit which consists of a single 20ft high cube container.
The main office will by far be the biggest structure created for this project and will provide a spacious workspace, by including office space, work stations, meeting rooms, amenity facilities, a server room, a cashier and as well as a high vantage point to monitor their depot operations.
This project is at currently at the halfway point of completion with the maintenance office and main office being the only structures remaining to be completed. These units will all be fitted with the standard features of any regular office building, windows, doors, air conditioning, electricity plugs, lights, ventilation, wiring, insulated walls and other such features normally found in office structures.
Once this project is finished these portacamp units will be transported to Semarang by truck from our Jakarta depot. On arrival our team will begin the assembly of the units so that they are ready for use by our customer in Semarang.
We look forward to updating you on the finished result and some photos once the portacamps have been installed in Semarang.
